Parents of children ages 6 - 12 must attend a parent information briefing, which will be held during the first half hour of each audition.

September 16, 2019 - June 7, 2020, including performances in NYC, Jersey City, NJPAC and touring.

World premieres by Artistic Director Samuel Pott, new commissions by guest choreographers, repertory by Darshan Singh Bhuller (former AD Phoenix Dance Theater), Vernard Gilmore (lead dancer Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater), Dawn Marie Bazemore (Philadanco alum) and many others.

Requirements:
Dancers should have professional experience, excellent modern and ballet technique, and strong partnering skills.
Dancers should be prepared to work at a high technical level, collaborate creatively, be a responsible group member and work towards community impact through the arts.

Company contracts consists of approximately 35 weeks of work:
September 16 - June 7, 2020 followed by possible 3 to 5 week summer extension with additional touring.
Period, late June through early August.

All rehearsals, performances and teaching are paid at competitive rates.

Anouk van Dijk and Falk Richter are looking for dancers for a New creation

Requirements:
Experienced professional performers with open minds and an interest in collaborative creative processes.
Have a strong contemporary dance technique, performance and improvisation skills.
Have an interest in working with text and a need to express themselves physically.
Must be willing to share their personal story for the production.

This new creation brings together dancers and actors, co-created by choreographer/director Anouk van Dijk and writer/director Falk Richter.
It will be their seventh collaboration and first work for Münchner Kammerspiele in 2020/21.
Previous works include TRUST (Schaubühne Berlin, 2009) and Complexity of Belonging (Chunky Move, 2014).

5. Your motivation statement

Practical information for the auditions:
You must be available for both audition days of Round 1 (Berlin or Munich), plus the final casting day in Munich.
Clearly indicate on the registration form which city you wish to attend in Round 1.
First-round auditions will happen in Berlin on Saturday October 12th with a call - back on Sunday October 13th as well as in Munich on Friday October 18th, with a call - back on Saturday October 19th
Successful candidates of Round 1 will be invited for the Final Casting Day in Munich on Sunday 20th of October.
You will need to prepare some texts for the audition.

We strongly encourage dancers of all ages, gender identities and cultural backgrounds to apply.

Rehearsal phase 1:
Approx. May 25th until June 27th 2020 (exact rehearsal schedule is still subject to change)

Rehearsal phase 2:
September until mid October 2020

Premiere:
between October 8t and October 15th 2020

Performance dates in 2020 / 2021 t.b.d. (four performances in blocks of five days)
Rehearsals and performances will take place in Munich.

The exact performance dates for October 8th until December 31st 2020 will be known by January 2020, and performance dates for January 1st 2021 until July 31st, 2021 by September 2020.
