He is also looking for dancers who could potentially be part of the Swan Lake / Loch na hEala company for some national and international touring in 2017 and 2018.

Szene 2wei understands contemporary dance theatre to be a medium and a motor for inclusive action.
The ensemble works with mixed able artists, people from different cultures, and different professional dance backgrounds.
The company has evolved since 2009.
The main focus is on the artistic work.

Szene 2wei works towards individual strengths, picking up on potential, creating perspectives and ways of living, connecting and mediating.
Networking establishes the basis for an approach focused on process.

The project "KALA trilogy" is an inclusive, interdisciplinary and intercultural dance production by Szene 2wei inclusive dance company.
In this sense, the frame of the project is both social and cultural, which is why it cooperates with institutions and facilities in both areas.
During the three - year term of this project, three contemporary dance pieces will be elaborated that draw upon each other, together constituting the KALA trilogy.
Dance workshops with similar subject matter will follow the nationwide performances of the dance pieces.
The planned nationwide performances will include classic theater performances as much as performances in settings of ordinary life.
In the workshop following each performance, we will engage with elements, methods and motifs of the dance piece and the dance company in general.
Disabled and non-disabled members of the company will form inclusive teams to lead the workshops.

– 2 years of professional dance experience (contemporary, modern dance) and/or a particular natural performance style
– Good improvisation skills
– Capacity for Teamwork and good communication skills
– An open mind towards experiments
– High motivation

established in 2000 is the largest performing ballet company in Florida.
Under direction of Katerina Fedotova, the Russian Ballet of Orlando teaches the Vaganova method to all levels of dancers, from beginners to professionals.
Classes offered include professional Russian ballet, ballet history, jazz, variations, partnering, pointe, poise, and grace.
Older students are helped to build resumes to audition for professional ballet companies upon graduation.
Performances take place all year round in Orlando area and world wide.

Video Audition Deadline by April 1st 2017

The audition submission should begin with a short technical demonstration at the barre and center.
The student must include plies, tendues, (from fifth position) ronde de jambe, and adagio, and balances on one leg.
The exercises can be short, but with enough repetition that the dancer can be seen clearly.
This section does not need to be more than 6 minutes in length.
Please also include a classical variation, (on pointe for women) one to two minutes in length.

Our program offers:
Strong Vaganova curriculum for dancers to develop technically and artistically.
Classes taught by Ballet Masters from East Europe and USA in ballet pointe, pas de deux, variations, modern, and more! The advantage of being exposed to different cultures and forming meaningful relationships with other dancers.

Tuition:
Tuition is $1,450 for three weeks. $2,500 to attend six weeks (both Burlington and Norwell programs).

Full-Time Artists:
Ballet BC is seeking experienced female and male dancers interested in a diverse collaborative environment that focuses on the innovation and creation of contemporary dance.
The artist should display strong classical training, have experience in contemporary dance and a passion for the creative process.

Apprentice Positions:
Ballet BC is also looking for talented, young male and female graduates who have completed a professional training program to join the Ballet BC Apprentice Program.
The program will take place between July 2017 and June 2018 and will provide apprentices with a weekly honorarium.

Summer Dance Intensive:
And we are looking for young, aspiring graduate students who have completed a professional training program to attend our International Summer Dance Intensive in collaboration with Arts Umbrella, August 7 - 25, 2017.

Audition Requirements:
The auditions will consist of ballet class and learning of company repertoire.
Please bring CV and two photos (one headshot and one full - body dance).
Women, please bring pointe shoes.

Auditions for Summer 2017 & Year - Round Program 2017 - 2018

Requirements:
Applicants should be between 12 - 19 years of age and have a strong basic classical foundation in relation to their level and age.
(11 year olds may audition as long as they are age 12 by June ).
Dancers should audition with the age group that they fall into on the date of the audition.

Please bring two recent photos to your audition, 1st arabesque and tendu a la seconde.
Photographs will not be returned.

Girls should wear a solid color leotard and full-length pink tights with ballet slippers.
Boys should wear white t - shirts and full-length black tights.

Acceptance and Enrollment Process:
Upon completing a summer intensive audition, participating students will receive a letter indicating acceptance, wait - list, or non - acceptance within two weeks.

Accepted students will receive an invitation letter along with an Enrollment Agreement detailing the fees, deadlines and Ellison Ballet Summer Intensive policy.

The Enrollment Agreement must be signed and returned within two weeks of your acceptance.
Wait - listed candidates will be informed by March 15th if their status changes.
Priority is given to the full SI program (6 or 4 weeks) participants.
Those wishing to be invited into the year-round program are encouraged to attend one of our three summer programs offered.
